2017 - present    SELF-INITIATEDM-OTHER is an on-going discussion about the otherness of motherness. Seeking, sharing and discussing contemporary and historic examples, M_OTHER is an attempt to find ‘other’ radical positions on mothering, kinship and family in art and culture, not as an ideal or archetype, but as an inquiry or opportunity to think up different approaches. This conversation takes the form of emails sent back and forth between us. Research is collated and shared annually during Spike Open.
