Conway and Young are graphic designers, artists and educators motivated by art and designs critical, social and political potential. They have been working on commissioned and self-initiated projects together since 2006.

They are currently SWCTN Data Fellows.

They have had a shared lecturing practice since 2007. They currently lecture part-time on the UWE Graphic Design Ba where they are responsible for devising, co-ordinating and delivering live project briefs. These projects are embedded within the local community and involve working with cultural, political and community-led organisations including; museums, radio stations, cinemas, community centres, unions, local councils, galleries and archives. Together Conway and Young have been instrumental in developing a curriculum that encourages graphic designers to work collaboratively in public locations, considering the social, performative and interactive potential of Graphic Design.
